In a world where climate change impacts are becoming increasingly evident, the power of art to inspire action has never been more important. At Fervor & Zeal, we're proud to partner with talented artist Tyrell Waiters and the grassroots climate action organization SanDiego350 to create apparel that not only looks great but also helps fund meaningful climate justice work.

The Designs that Speak Volumes

Our climate justice collection features two powerful designs that capture the urgency of our current environmental moment.

"System Change Not Climate Change"

This bold declaration isn't just a catchy phrase—it's a call to action that has become one of the most recognized rallying cries in the climate movement. The slogan recognizes that addressing climate change requires more than individual actions; it demands fundamental shifts in how our economic and social systems operate.

Tyrell's striking design for our organic tote bags, unisex t-shirts, and lightweight hoodies brings this message to life with bold typography and compelling imagery. It's a wearable statement that starts conversations and signals your commitment to addressing the root causes of our climate crisis.

"Things Are Heating Up"

With a touch of dark humor that reflects the gravity of our situation, this design captures the increasing urgency of climate action. The simple yet powerful message reminds us that the consequences of inaction are already being felt worldwide—from record-breaking temperatures to intensifying natural disasters.

Available on our premium t-shirts and tote bags, this design combines Tyrell's distinctive artistic style with a message that's impossible to ignore. It's a perfect conversation starter for explaining the realities of climate change to those who might not yet understand its urgency.

The Artist Behind the Message: Tyrell Waiters

Our collaboration with Tyrell Waiters has been nothing short of inspiring. A graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design, Tyrell brings exceptional talent and a deep commitment to using art as a vehicle for social change.

As a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, Tyrell has worked across various industries from marketing to music and entertainment. His versatile artistic style, combined with his passion for environmental causes, made him the perfect partner for this climate justice collection.

Throughout our collaboration, we've been consistently impressed by Tyrell's ability to translate complex ideas into visually compelling designs. His work doesn't just communicate a message—it evokes emotion and inspires action. Each piece reflects both artistic excellence and genuine concern for our planet's future.

When Tyrell first shared his concepts for these designs, we knew immediately that they would resonate with people who care deeply about environmental justice. His ability to combine powerful messaging with artistic appeal creates pieces that people are proud to wear and carry.

Our Partner in Action: SanDiego350

SanDiego350 is building a movement to prevent the worst impacts of climate change and climate injustice through education, outreach, public policy advocacy, and mobilizing people to take action. This grassroots organization embodies the spirit of community-based climate action that we deeply admire.

As a volunteer-powered nonprofit, SanDiego350 has achieved remarkable results in the San Diego region, from organizing some of the city's largest climate rallies to successfully advocating for stronger climate action plans. Their Youth4Climate program empowers young leaders to become effective climate advocates, while their policy work pushes for systemic changes in how communities address the climate crisis.

The connection between Fervor & Zeal and SanDiego350 runs deep. In fact, two of our co-founders recently participated in SanDiego350's Unite for Climate march on May 3rd, joining hundreds of community members to demand climate action. This firsthand experience reinforced our commitment to supporting their vital work and strengthened our personal connection to their mission.

We've been particularly inspired by SanDiego350's commitment to climate justice—recognizing that climate change disproportionately affects vulnerable communities and working to ensure that climate solutions address these inequities. Their intersectional approach aligns perfectly with our values at Fervor & Zeal.

Why These Designs Matter

In an era of "greenwashing" and superficial environmental messaging, these designs stand out by communicating authentic calls for meaningful change. They aren't just stylish accessories; they're statements of purpose that connect wearers to a larger movement for climate justice.

When you purchase a piece from this collection, you're not just buying apparel—you're supporting both an artist and a cause. With each purchase, 25% goes directly to the artist, Tyrell Waiters, supporting his continued creative work, while another 25% goes to SanDiego350, helping fund their essential climate activism.

This model represents our core mission: creating beautiful products that support both artistic expression and social causes. It's about connecting consumers with artists and organizations making a real difference in our world.

Join the Movement

We hope these designs resonate with you as much as they do with us. By wearing them, you help amplify important climate messages in your community.
